Types of Base

Choosing your base should be less stressful than the mattress. You just need to decide whether you want a sprung or board top base; and what storage configuration you require.

Myer's have made the whole process much easier by pairing up certain mattresses with their correct base types. Some mattress types can only be used with Board Top or Slatted type bases. Unless you are buying a mattress to fit a bedstead you already have, all Myer's mattresses and bases are sold complete as divan sets.

There is a huge collection of different mattress and bases combinations to suit everybody's requirements. Just ask in store and the salesman should have a set that will suit.

FILLINGS & COMFORT

Typical drawer divan base

Generous sections of timber are used in the construction of Myer's bed frames. They are carefully built and upholstered by craftsmen in the traditional way.

TOP TIP
It can be a false economy using a new mattress on an old base. Myer's suggest that when you need a new mattress it is as well to replace the base.
